My Future Love (at least for the next few months)
Posted by Isabel on September 8th, 2005. Filed under: I have a slight TV addiction.
Thanks to Zoot for getting me thinking about my plans this month. I have added new items in my planner.
It started with an e-mail in my inbox yesterday reminding me that the season premier of O.C. starts Thursday. I was like “wha? I hadn’t heard that. Are you sure?”. I went directly to their website to verify. Sure enough, it’s starting TONIGHT. And I think I read something that said “Trey is holding on to life”. Wha? I thought he was d-e-a-d. He looked dead. I want him to be dead (is that bad of me?). He was creepy and a jerk. I don’t care how hot he is/was.
I decided I’d better look up the dates for the premiers of all my favorite shows.
Lost starts on the 21st. Phew. I have a few more weeks to stress over Walt. And I read yesterday that Sawyer isn’t dead. Good, even though I don’t think he’s as hot as everyone else seems to.
Veronica Mars starts on the 28th. Which doesn’t sound bad until you realize it’s on the SAME NIGHT as Lost. How could they do this to me? Was this on purpose? Are they trying to make me choose? Because at this point, I can’t. Not until I am sure that it is Logan at Veronica’s door and that they are still just as much as in love as before. (Oh my gosh, am I really this big of a dork)
The King and I don’t have *real* TiVo. We have the cheap, knock off version that came with our dish. I think it pretty much works the same-we can record shows and pause live TV, blah, blah, blah. But we can’t record something and watch something else at the same time (not sure if TiVo let’s you do this. Does it?). I guess I’ll have to record Veronica Mars and watch Lost at my friends house down the street. But this means, I’ll have to watch the commercials. And I don’t do commercials.
I don’t even want to think about the others shows that I am sure we will get into this season. And we did just start Netflix this summer (to subsidize our free time during the off season for TV). So-we have many a movie coming in from Netflix. E-gads. What will become of me?
Not to mention the house we are trying to finish and the new house we are planning on building. Oh, and the pregnancy (which will, hopefully, become an actual baby).
How do people find the time for all of their loves?

You watch far too much TV lady!
That said, I do enjoy ‘Lost’ but hate the suspense. Do you EVER find anything out?
