We finally just stopped planting flowers out there. I used to sit on the front porch and give people the stink eye when they would walk their dogs in front of my house, like some crazy old lady. Can you imagine. How freaking inconsiderate! I feel your pain. I know that must REALLY piss you off (it would me at least). That's just rude! Oh, my mother-in-law watches my little girl so I don't have to worry about daycare but I did ask my brother what he pays and it's $189/wk for two boys (ages 4&5). They are older so it's cheaper, plus he gets a discount for having two. I guess I can second your comment yesterday from Elisette about Memphis being "cheap" b/c that's where I am. I am SO sorry!
