The birth story?

I have an idea of what I want to write (sort of) and I know what pictures I want to add. It’s just actually sitting down at the computer and doing it. When I actually have time. You know, when I’m not busy either feeding The Baby or snuggling him. Man, he’s just so easy to snuggle.
Somehow I need to get from this picture my Mom took of me at 41 weeks.
To this picture of me the night before he was born.
And then to this picture taken minutes after I was mildly conscience enough to see The Baby for the first time. (I love looking at this and remembering how hammered I was. Man, labor is hard. And contractions hurt!)
And then there is this “After” picture taken a few weeks ago. (Which still freaks me out. I mean, how did he fit in there?)
And finally to this picture taken last night.
Which needs to be compared to this picture of me taken when I was three months old. No doubt who is this baby’s Mommy!
Yeah, I need to totally get working on that birth story.
Just give me some more time to snuggle my baby.

Yeah, great pictures! You have no idea how he fit in there? Look at that 41 week belly! Then take Baby from the pic where you’re holding him and place him right over the belly! He’ll fit!

I second you on the pain of contractions. HOLY CRAP! Most painful thing EVER! But…you got your boy and he is B-E-A-UTIFUL!

Babies are soooooo much fun to snuggle. It’s an amazing feeling. How could we ask you to stop!
Your pictures are great, all of them. You do look great for being in labor & having a newborn. It makes me think that I will never post my labor pictures

Just an aside: in the 41 week picture, Larry King looks an awful lot like either Beavis or Butthead.

Your son is absolutely breath taking! Honestly, he’s just too precious! And you look so good after having a baby! You make me feel like after I have kids someday, that there will be hope for me to look good again!

Yay for pictures! He’s so cute! Those were definitely enough to tide us over until the birth story. I can understand postponing it for cuddling the baby, because that seems like a completely valid and excellent excuse to me.

First, that is one CUTE CUTE baby. Can I borrow him or perhaps just steal him for my own? CUTE!
Also, as I was looking at the photos of you still preg and in the hospital I was like, something is different here, and it’s that you aren’t wearing black! haha – I guess they don’t have black hospital gowns huh? But that pic of you holding the baby toward the end you came back to the old faithful black shirt.
And you look hot! Skinny again already? What’s the secret?
