Am I the only one surprised that Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson are getting divorced? I mean, really. I’m surprised.
I was talking about their divorce yesterday with my friend May. She said that she was also surprised. Mostly because she had figured Kate must really love Chris. Since she wasn’t marrying him for his looks.
Ouch.
(Although she does have a point.)
Guess what else May and I did yesterday?
We took pictures of each other’s necks. No, we didn’t do that (I took this picture myself from my cubicle this morning. No airbrushing was done on this photo. Clearly.)
Actually May and I made jewelry. I bought the beads for like .50 cents (that might be a slight exaggeration) and the tools for a little more then .50 cents and we were set. I made 3 different necklaces.
I haven’t even started on the earrings yet. But be assured, they will be fabulous.
(So tell me, are you surprised about the divorce, or is it just me?)

I’m very surprised about the divorce. But then again… I guess I shouldn’t be surprised when anyone gets divorced anymore.

Oh that is so neat! I want to make my own jewelry! Where did you get that from?
I was sort of surprised, but kinda not because they got married sort of fast. Plus I’ve seen recent pictures of Kate out with her son, but no husband to be found. The one I’m really surprised about is Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler’s split.
That one made me way sad! I loved Meet the Barkers!

I was totally taken aback–because, you know, Chris and Kate are like my friends. I had high hopes for them.
It’s a shame, really, when anyone gets divorced. Even more of a shame to have to do it in the public eye. And especially when people have been rooting for you!

The bead necklace looks great. I especially love the deep green that u matched it with. very classy.
It’s also impressive that u made it yourself.
I picked out some very nice bead jewellery while in India and it cost so little- my joy of finding such great bargains were short lived when I realised that they were probably made in some sweatshop by 7 year olds. But I still wear them and they are a good talking point to my friends who care so little about the world beyond their own home. hehe…great way to get rid of my own guilt.

This is the first I’m hearing of this! I am surprised, but at this point, I shouldn’t be. There’s only like, five couples who’ve gotten married and made it to the twenty-year mark. But even they could get divorced. It’s all so very, very sad.

I didn’t even know the bad news. I must be living under a rock. Of course you might call me lame since I’m not certain about this “TV” that you talk about. ha! I’m heartbroken they didn’t call me with the news themselves.

I am also surprised about the Kate/Chris break up. I thought they looked like a lovely couple and I agree with May’s “appearance” statement.

I’m a total sucker for celebrity marriages. Even though chances are they’re going to end in divorce…..I’m still sad when they do. I’ll admit that I actually hoped for a reconciliation when Nick and Jessica broke up, even though their split came as a surprise to pretty much no one. Kate and Chris really did surprise me though, they seemed so good together. Also? Christar mentioned Travis and Shanna Barker and that really broke my heart too…
I’d love to see a celebrity couple start a new trend of actually staying together!

So I was totally surprised about Kate and Chris, but I heard that he didn’t want her to get pregnant again because he didn’t want a (get this) FAT WIFE! Now this is hearsay, but I lost a lot of respect for him after that.

The divorce is sort of surprising. But not really. Those Hollywood types are sort of like inbreeders. They cannot manage to keep a marriage and that’s probably because they won’t date/court/marry outside of their weird little circle of fellow ack-torrrrs and mewww-sicians (Can you hear the snotty accent?). They should try mixing with some normal folk and they might have a lasting marriage!

I am surprised about the divorce…not sure why, considering they’re celebrities. Celebrities always get divorced, right?? Anyway, I just saw her on The View a week or so ago..seemed happy. Guess she should have taken her mom’s lead and just shacked up with him.
