Am I the only one that’s been sucked in to this whole “I killed JonBenet” thing?
I worked from home yesterday, so I just kept the cable news shows on all day. I couldn’t get enough of the story. I mean, it has murder, scorned parents, nut jobs, teen brides and flashy cars. Plus they are showing all the awesome footage of JonBenet again. It’s amazing how much footage they have of that sweet little girl. I’m not sure that my parents have any video footage of me, let alone the extent that the Ramsey’s have of JonBenet.
And while I really want this case to be solved and have this crazy looking, high pant wearing, teen bride marrying guy to be guilty; I just don’t think he is.
I can’t wait for more information to come out about this guy. He just gets crazier by the second. What do you think about all of it?
And is this story more intriquing than the “Where is Baby Suri” story?

Today is Babboo’s first day at school (we have chosen to call it school instead of daycare in our own lame attempt to make ourselves feel better about it.)
I dressed him in his best Simon and Garfunkel shirt. I figured that way the other babies will know what he’s about and they’ll respect him for it. The King said it made him look “fruity” and that we should have dressed him in his Guns and Roses shirt. Then the other babies would know Babboo is tough and that they shouldn’t mess with him.
Either way, he looked a little confused when The King and I both walked away and left him alone in his little crib.
And I felt a little confused as I walked to my office. I kept telling myself; he’ll be fine, he’ll be fine. And I know he will be.

My sister is convinced that the whole bizarre thing going on at our “school” (we do the same thing wrt day care) this week, with the teacher leaving under mysterious circumstances, has something to do with the JonBenet Ramsey case.
Her argument is that apparently the the poor child is buried in Georgia, or maybe that the teen bride marrying weirdo is from Alabama, which is near Georgia. The guy and his confession are mysterious and so is the sudden departure of Noah’s teacher, therefore they must be connected.
You will be fine. So will Babboo. I think S&G was the right shirt. G&R might have been too intimidating for the other babies.

Hell yeah, I’d respect a man who will grow up to know all the words to Bridge over troubled water.
OK all this talk of Paul and Art has me diving for my ipod.

Wow, what a big day for you guys. You went through a lot of trouble and effort to get Babboo into a great facility, and I’m sure he’ll be very happy there.
Also, I love that Babboo has shirts reflecting his musical taste already.
Also also, this JonBenet stuff is CRAZY.

I bet Babboo is having tons of fun with the other babies! And he’ll learn a lot, being around other babies.
The JonBenet thing is driving me nuts. Yes, I know it was a huge story 10 years ago, but does it need to have THIS much coverage? Geezus! Just because she was dressed up (perversely) by her parents like an adult and paraded around on stages doesn’t make her any more important than any of the hundreds of other unsolved murder cases in this country.

While I think the JonBenet suspect is a weird cat, I do not think he is the guilty party. I am sure you must have seen the interview with him…he just does not seem to have his story together.
There are a number of theories out on Suri Cruise, and I really like the one where she’s a puker. Have ya heard that? As the mom of two reflux babes, I would like to believe that Tom and Katie are changing their shirts seventeen times a day, just like I did, and they are afraid of having their baby photographed by the stalkerazzi mid-hurl. Gross, but possible, eh?
Good luck with Babboo at school today. I like the term school as well. And tell us, where do you get those great shirts for him??

OH. GOD. You actually had to walk away? Oh. God. I think I am having a panic attack. WHY HADN’T I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT PART??? I like that you are calling it school.
I don’t think Kerr did it…I’m not sure what he’s up to but I don’t buy it yet. I just want to know what happened in that basement.

I’m totally compelled by the Jon Benet story too. I also want this guy to be guilty, but I’m kinda with you on thinking he’s not. But who knows, right?
Congrats on Babboo’s first day of ’school’. That’s a huge step for you guys! You should totally post some pics of him in the rocker T~shirts!

I agree with Christar. We need to see pics. I saw the pics of the shirts when you posted them before Babboo was born…but now I need to see them on him.

I don’t know if he did it or not, but I definitely was never sold on the idea that his parents did it…

Ooh! First day of daycare. You’ll have to let us know how you survived it.
I have been sucked in by all this JonBenet stuff. It’s just so interesting. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.

I it’s awesome that you have a GnR t-shirt for your baby. I hope to be that cool someday.
And I have TOTALLY been sucked into this JonBenet thing. I feel soooo bad for her poor parents having been accused of the crime this whole time. I think this guy COULD have done it, but I need proof, like a DNA match.

How sweet that your little one is having his first day at “school”?? I love the S&G shirt idea…he might be a little thing but he’s “keepin’ it real” - I love it!
As for the JBR case and the freaky teacher - I’m obsessed. Guilty of this crime or not - he needs to fry. He probably admitted to the crime to get out of being put in a Thailand prison - maybe he thought he’d fair better here. Either way he’s a creep. The whole thing is like a train wreck - I know I shouldn’t be so interested but I am.
And the Baby Suri mystery continues. What is the deal with TomKat? I think that if the whole scientology thing wasn’t such a huge factor people wouldn’t care so much - they’d just figure that the new family wants their privacy…but since Tom has been such a nut-job from day 1 everyone suspects he’s helped produce some mutant alien baby. I’m sure it’s a cutie-pa-tootie…just release baby pics already!
Congrats on the first day of Babboo school!!

Can’t imagine how hard that was for you. I love the idea of the shirts though. You should dress him in his Old 97s shirt so they will know he is smart, yet sensitive, with an old soul and that he can play a mean guitar.

JBR…that story is just so weird. I couldn’t help but wonder if the guy was just a scapegoat when I first heard the news, but now they are saying he knew details that no one else could have. Dunno…
I bet Babboo was too cute at ’school’. As you walked to your office I bet you were really saying, “I’ll be fine. I’ll be fine. I’ll be fine. My baby is growing up!”
*sigh*

I am definitely intrigued, yes. And I just don’t get it. Thailand? Really? From Georgia to Thailand?
Sheesh.

S+G baby shirt, yeh! We need a picture, pls.
But, much as I’m an S+G fan, I think it’s right that GnR woulda made Babboo look more like someone to be reckoned with.
We have much less coverage of the JonBenet case here in the UK than you guys do, but there was one news interview with Kerr where he said ‘I really loved that girl…[so I didn't mean for her to die]‘. WTF? ‘Love’?

He totally needs an Old 97’s onesie.
I need to watch the news more - I had no clue that someone had “confessed.”

JBR-that whole thing is just crazy. This guy is crazy. His story already has holes in it but like someone above said, they are claiming that he knows details that were NEVER released to the public. I guess we’ll find out eventually. Did you hear the news today that he had champagne and all this fancy food on the flight to the US and they never had him handcuffed? OH, and that some sex-change doctor in Thailand said this dude was a patient of his recently? He is definitely a sicko, that I’m sure of.
Baby Suri? I’m so over it and could care less.
So, how was Babboo’s first day of “school”? And also, how did you do?

Re the creepy dude - I dont think he did it either. I could be wrong but I think he’s just an uber-creepy attention seeker. Dude should be locked up just for wearing his pants too high.

How did Baboo do at school? How did you guys do? My guess is that he had alot of fun playing with all of the other babies. And I like your choice of t-s for him!
