Love it, hate it

I’m taking today’s post from one of my favorite blogs, Love is Blond. Janet, I hope you don’t mind. I’m pretty sure you won’t-since you’re too busy planning your wedding. Hooray for weddings.
Hate: When Babboo wakes up to eat an hour before my alarm goes off. What’s the point of going back to sleep?
Hate: Recipes that say “prep time-15 minutes”, when in reality I spend 45 minutes just chopping the friggin’ vegetables.
Love: The new hat I bought for Babboo for .97 cents.
Hate: The 5 poopie diapers I changed yesterday.
Love: The sound of Babboo farting. I listened to it all day yesterday. And every time I heard it I smiled. So did he.
Love: My white pinstriped pants from Gap that I’m wearing today. (that’s my view of them right now at my desk)
Love: Having soda for breakfast.
Hate: All this crap going on with planes, as of late. Especially since we’re flying next week. With our baby. Gasp!
Love: Tom Cruise getting fired. It’s about time, dude.
Love: The fact that most of my team at work won’t be here today. Party day!
Hate: Making phone calls today to post offices in Montana. This is my least favorite task at work. Good thing I only have to do it twice a month. (Good thing I went to college. Yes, Making Phone Calls 101 sure has come in handy…)
Love: The free brownies and muffins at work today. This is a great place to work after all.

I hate that my poor Ally was up all night puking. I hate that I had to change her sheets twice. I hate that I didn’t get to sleep until about 3:30 this morning. I hate that I was up again at 5:30. I love that Jess is getting over whatever Ally’s got.

I’m hating the post office actually… for not delivering my coach purse from ebay to my house. And for sending it back to the sender… all because of stupid mail forwarding problems. And this vent really only makes sense to me… but I’m still posting it here! Ha!
But I LOVE the vanilla chai spice coffee mate… can I say that enough times? LOVE IT!

I always wondered why Rachel Ray could do a meal in 30 minutes but I never could. Then I realized I didn’t have her chopping skills. So yeah, I usually double the “prep time” that is given.
I also love that Tom got fired! HA! Now if only Paris Hilton would go away.
I love the Oreos I had for breakfast.
I hate that it’s only Wednesday.

I hate that I just ate a fresh, delicious peach, and it was so good that I want five more, but I’m stuck at work where there are NO MORE PEACHES!!!

Loving – that I don’t have to work Friday
Hating – that it’s not a day off, really, because I have to do stuff for a friend’s wedding.
Loving – that my husband is excited about opportunities that are being presented to him at work.
Hating – that it might mean he has to go to Alabama for 3 months and then they can transfer us anywhere in the country they want.
Loving – that I’m getting new opportunities at work
Hating – that I promised my husband that it was his turn to take opportunities so I may miss out on my new opportunities at work.

I also am loving your pinstriped pants!! And I had a hungry baby an hour before alarm time too. J got up to feed him but it took half an hour for me to go back to sleep (it’s not exactly a CALM way to wake up, your baby that wasn’t in your dream suddenly screaming bloody murder and you don’t know where he is in the huge fairy forest or wherever the hell).

Tom Cruise got fired?? Hooray!!
I am pretty much with you on every single one of those, except the poopy diapers. But I do hate cleaning up after my cat who has decided to stop using the litterbox to show me how happy he is that I’m back from vacation though.
HATE waking up before the alarm if there’s not enough time to go back to sleep, recipes that would take 15 minutes of prep if you were a TV chef with everything measured and out on your counter, how awful travel has become, and doing stupid, stupid stuff at work when I have an “education”.
LOVE having Diet Coke at 9am, free food at work, quiet office days… and those pinstriped pants are fabulous.

- My poor success with this return attempt at Weight Watchers (Why has nobody invented zero-point cheese and candy?!)
- My lack of motivation for my job lately

I love that I started Fall semester today, and I like all of my classes!
I hate that I still have to put in hours at my crummy job after school is done for the day.

I am loving that my husband is home safe after spending 3 days climbing a 14,000 foot mountain.
I also love that by the time I get home he will have had 3 hours to wash off The Smell. Because nobody smells good after spending 3 days in the wilderness. (You know it’s bad when the dog hid from him instead of being excited to see him; if the dog who enjoys eating poop can’t even stand the smell, it can’t be good.)
I hate that I don’t have pants as cute as yours. (But I do have a Gap gift card. Hmmm…I think there may be a shopping trip in my future.)

Love: that the Mistah and I have still have one day left of his summer vacation.
Love: When Henry uncharacteristically woke at 6:15 this morning, The Mistah said he’d feed him the bottle and stay up with him. He had to “practice” for waking up early tomorrow.
HATE: That the Mistah starts orientation at his new school tomorrow–where has the summer gone? It can’t be over, it barely just started! BAH!

Great love/hates! I like when Janet does those.
Today I am hating that no one has commented on my post at all yet (WTF!) and that I am stressed with preparing for my upcoming vacation out west. Also that I’m having a lot of trouble staying caught up on people’s blogs.
Loving? That I worked and felt productive all day in the office. It’s a good feeling.

Yeah white pants do take courage, confidence and a pair of skinny legs, which you apparently have.
