Welcome to the Monday Tuesday edition of Love/Hate:
Love: That you can now get This American Life podcasts. FOR FREE. (I will no longer have to *download* them in questionable ways.)
Hate: That my parents are going home today.
Love: Having yesterday off to spend with my parents.
Love: Shopping at the outlets on my day off.
Hate: The rain.
Love: All of the green trees, that are green because of the rain. That I hate.
Love: The sun. That is totally peaking through.
Love: The dinner I have planned for tonight has the words puff and cheese in the title. Enough said.
Hate: That my company has blocked the use of Flickr.com, which means I can’t post pictures to my blog.
Love: That I figured out how to do it via a new blogger account. Screw you employer and you’re website blocking skillz.
Hate: Being poor.
Hate: Being too poor to buy me new fall clothes.
Hate: That I’m wearing my summer capri’s to work today. (See previous “hate”.) (Can I wear my fall boots with my capri’s? I see people do it. But I’m still not sure if I can do it.)
Hate: Having to do my yearly review at work this week.
Love: That I have the possibility of getting a raise.
Love: That Babboo can sit up. All by himself. Thus staying contained in one area.
Hate: That he can also roll over like a mad man. Thus making it hard for me to “set it and forget it”.
Hate: That I’m still pumping at work.
Hate: That I have to find time between meetings to pump.

Love - my baby’s crib (just got it yesterday).
Hate - cashiers who have an open register but deceive me by not turning on their light, so I stand in the longer line because I think their line is closing.

Love - That Thom told me I can go to BlogHer 07
Hate - The amount of money it is going to cost me
Love - That I will hopefully see you there
Hate - That I will be scared and shy and afraid that no one will like me.
Love - That it’s Tuesday which means Veronica Mars is on tonight!
Hate - That Veronica Mars is only on one night a week.
I could probably go on and on, but for now… that’ll do.

Love - that I am leaving the office early today after working 125 hours in the last two weeks.
Hate - I have to take Mr. Cheeks to the Doctor for an ear check.
Love - I finally get to watch TV
Hate - that I have to watch two weeks worth of shows before I can watch this week’s show
Love - that I am taking Friday off to go to the Jr. League Marketplace
Hate - that I will probably not have enough money to buy all the things I want.
And Frema, I hate it when the models look at what’s inside the case and their face totally gives it away. Just open it up!

I’m hating the rain too. It seems to be neverending. The town I live in gives Seattle a run for it’s raininess title - and it’s the second cloudiest city in the US.
Here’s mine:
Love - Bonus/Raise time
Hate - That as soon as it’s bonus/raise time we have to buy four new tires. So long bonus!

Love- that I am no longer on crutches
Hate- that I now have a more long-term fiberglass cast instead of the removable Aircast.
Love- That I get to teach ancient pre-Greek Aegean cultures tomorrow
Hate- that the possibility of falling in front of my students is VERY real. Owww
Love- that my mom bought me a bottle of Mr Bubble for Sensitive Skin as a get-well-soon present
Hate- the prospect of plopping my fat, naked, casted butt into the tub.
But really, the love outweighs the bad. Love that Isabel had a great weekend with the rents!

Love: That fact that I finally had my facial today
Hate: The fact that I couldn’t really relax and enjoy it because I am stressed about my new role at work and what if I keep sucking at it and I lose my job and then, no more facials. And then I will have to go back to being a temp and I did envelope stuffing at 26, I am NOT going to do it again at 29.
