She Said, She Said

How did my review go yesterday, you ask? No thanks to my skirt, it went just fine. I did make sure to put my glasses on before I went in. Mostly because I’ve heard there are actual studies proving that you seem smarter when wearing glasses. Dude, I’ll take any help I can get.

What did I learn in my review? I learned that raises were submitted prior to the actual review. My skirt was for naught.

When I asked The King what he would be writing today he said, “I am sick and won’t be writing anything today.”

That’s right. Babboo and The King are home for the second day in a row. Babboo is suffering from a horrible cough and The King is suffering from the required flu shot he received at work earlier in the week.

That means today is all me. Which isn’t much fun, since everyday is all me. I mean come on, it’s my blog.

I was upset when I heard that Paul McCartney and Heather Mills-McCartney were getting divorced. The thing that upset me the most was that I was still married and couldn’t be his rebound. (I kid!) You know I love me some Paul.

This week we heard a whole slew of upsetting news about their impending divorce. It’s upsetting. I don’t know what upsets me more, the fact that it’s being said that he beat her or the fact that this info was “leaked” which means it might not even be true, which means that someone is trying to make this divorce even harder for them. Which sucks.

Divorce sucks. Getting divorced in front of the entire world sucks even harder. Especially when there are sweet babies involved.

Instead let’s think about good things. Like this picture of my Mom reading a story to my Sweet Babboo this last weekend.

Sad, there’s no post from The King today. :( But that’s ok, cuz he needs his rest. Zachary had a really bad cough last weekend. I guess we’ll see if he still has it today, but man did I feel bad for the little guy. Hope Babboo feels better! Don’t you just feel so helpless when they’re sick?
Hope the raise was a good one!

Good job on the review! I couldn’t see the pic, but my pc has been disliking me quite a bit lately. I’m sure it was cute!

Being sick is the pits. I hope everyone starts feeling better soon. And the picture? So sweet! And since when did Babboo grow up so fast?!

I’ve always been drawn to guys in glasses — something about that “intelligent” look is very attractive. So pairing the glasses with the skirt was probably a very smart move on your part, regardless of whether it made a difference in your raise!

The whole McCartney-Mills divorce is making me sad too.

I mean, part of me wants to think that he couldn’t have done any of that stuff (did you read about him stopping her from breastfeeding because they are “his breasts”?) because, erm, he is Paul, and surely I would know if he was like that?

But on the other hand, people can be different in private should I really take someones side because I like their music?

I saw that about their divorce. I can’t imagine how painful that is — to have details like that “leaked”. It makes BOTH of them look bad… And I hope, for the sake of their little one, that it is all fiction….

Your Babboo is such a cute little munchkin! I love. Sorry your boys are sick. Hope they get better soon - let’s hope you don’t get it!

Hoorah for the good news. And hoorah for still wearing the nice skirt. :)

Heather Mills McCartney has a long history (well documented) of ‘having problems with the truth’. Now, it is being said that some of the contents of the leaked documents are contradicted by the contents of her book and of broadcast interviews.

Congrats on the good review! And the glasses are a great idea… will have to remember that for my upcoming review!

Heather was in it for the money all along. And he was married for so long before her…and well…why couldnt he have just not remarried a very young woman?

    ahh.

the pic didnt work on my browser either.

hope the King and Babboo feel better.

I don’t have any particular sympathy for Paul McCartney either, but he has been a fool. HMM’s reputation preceded her and Paul’s children warned him against her all along.

But, who can blame him, really? I guess he was on the ‘rebound’ from the death of his lifelong love and his only previous experience of marriage had been that it’s happy (in a 20 year balance) and that love lasts as long as life does.

It would not surprise me if the leak were not orchestrated by HMM. And I’m already getting a bit sick of her milking her disability for all it’s worth (and it’s already been worth many ££££ and could contribute yet to millions more).

    Two questions:

    1. Did you hear that he is trying to trademark his name? (Paul McCartney, that is)

    2. Did your reviewer give you all 10s, just like you gave yourself? I bet so!

Um…when did H & P have a baby?? Wow. I am out of it. I have heard many people in the media say that she has no chance at turning the tide of publica affection against him. I mean, he’s a Beatle!

Evan has a bad cough too and I’m wondering if the babysitter is going to kick him out. I’m going to have to go back in your posts and see exactly what Babboo has. Evan has croup.
