My own take on….A Fridge By Any Other Name
Posted by Isabel on November 16th, 2006. Filed under: Random.Kerrianne posted pictures of her fridge last week. For all the world to see. I was afraid to post my own fridge pictures. But that was mostly because it was empty. Which I thought meant I was a bad wife and mother.
Then The King went grocery shopping last night (while I hung out downtown with my friend). Now our fridge is all stocked and I feel like a better person. Plus, he bought me the gingerbread creamer that I love. (Have you guys tried this creamer? It is heaven in a bottle. Apparently there are more flavors. Which I will be trying.)

The outside of my fridge is about as boring as it gets. Right? One day there will be little drawings the Babboo did at school on there. For now? Coupons for formula.

But I make up for the lack of excitement on the outside with lots of exciting things on the inside. (Hey, it’s just like me.) I mean, check out all the diary products and meats. It’s a regular animal-product haven.

Hum, there seems to also be a lot of animal products in the freezer. I think we need to have more fruits and veggies in our diet. (But don’t tell The King I just said that, okay?)
Now as boring as this may all seem, it really isn’t.
Oh wait, yes this is. Kerrianne’s was so much cooler. I think it may have had something to do with all the pictures of friends and family on the outside of her fridge. Or the soda on the inside.
I need more soda in my life.
So-wanna share what’s inside your fridge? Or better yet, what’s under your sink?

I wish that Edy’s container were in MY freezer. What flavor is it? I’m a sucker for their chocolate-chip cookie dough. Or their berry rainbow sherbet.
Luke and I just went shopping last night, so we have a wonderfully stocked fridge and pantry, too. That and a vaccuumed carpet tell me I’ve really “made it” in life.

I’m a firm believer that no fridge is complete without pizza coupons, and lean pockets. Chris loves! lean pockets. The only reason we didn’t have any was because he ate them all. Oh, and also because we are apparently traipsing through an Eggo waffle phase. ; )

Ok so seeing this made me me decide to take a pic of the fridge at work where I keep all my coffee creamers. Gingerbread included! Although my alltime favs are Vanilla Chai Spice and Coconut Creme… I tend to try just about any flavor. Except for hazelnut. I hate hazelnut with a fierce passion.

I guess your blog didn’t like my comment with the html in it… so it threw it away. I’ll just post the link instead to my office fridge where I keep all my yummy coffee creamers.

That’s fun! It’s interesting to see how other people eat. I might be embarrassed to show people my fridge b/c of the sheer amount of cheese we have in there.

Um…I just looked at this again and noticed my spelling errors in my pictures. Dude, you’d think that after 31 years I’d know how to spell BREAST.
Guess not.
Now you all know how lame I really am.

Try the Peppermint Mocha creamer. I discovered these bottles of heaven at the store 2 weeks ago. SO GOOD.

I know coconut is not for everyone, but I am in love with CoffeeMate Coconut Creme. It is my coffee lovah.

I’m partial to the fat-free Hazelnut creamer– my father-in-law calls it “that nutty stuff” which he refuses to even sample, but he will put butter on his glazed donut.
Other constants in my fridge: rotting vegetables, month-old apples, Jarlsberg cheese (for me), mozzarella cheese (for hubby), various milks and way too many jams and jellies, because we always “think” we need more, but we really are stockpiled for all eternity.

[...] So I’m stealing this idea from Isabel who stole it from Kerianne. I didn’t get all fancy and actually write on the pics to describe what’s in my fridge, but feel free to go to my flickr account here and you can check out the details. [...]

Our fridge is the most ridiculous extreme of a bachelor’s fridge right now. I can guarantee that the one thing we have the most of is beer, and probably not even chi-chi beer. There’s a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20, copious amounts of soda and a weeeee little bit of apple cider than no one will drink and will soon be banished to the freezer.
The freezer was full of frozen half coffees and sodas, chicken wings, and leftovers in various states of decay. My mom taught me to put leftover stuff like half coffees and other junk that’ll smell bad in the freezer, but she never really mentioned throwing it out. BUT! I somehow woke up yesterday morning before the trash men arrived, and I handed them a forty bazillion pound bag of frozen drinks and quesadillas from about a month ago. Go me!

The outside of your fridge looks frighteningly (huh? word?) similar to my own.
The inside? Well, mine is e.m.p.t.y right now but…..I do have my 12 packs of coke in there. (Yes, “packs” is plural.)

[...] My fellow blogger and neighbor Isabel recently opened up her fridge to show us the contents so that we can see a glimpse into her everyday life. I decided my fridge was pretty boring so I thought I’d open up my medicine cabinet for all the world to see. [...]

I’m inspired! What’s funny to me is that although I loathe coffeemate and all other forms of fake cream with a passion, Jill is addicted to the fatfree hazelnut and so there is always at least 1 bottle in our fridge.
Also, I would have recognized the frozen purple-trimmed baggie anywhere and didn’t even notice that you can’t spell breast.
I’m going grocery shopping after work and will take a picture tonight or tomorrow.

[...] Awhile ago I saw Isabel’s post about the contents of her fridge and thought that sounded like a fun post idea. And now, more than 2 weeks later, I am finally getting around to writing that post. [...]
