King Friday - now with more winners
December 1st, 2006 @ 4:23 pm

The King had this week off from work. He did today’s post from home. In his pajamas, with the boy by his side.

I’m jealous.

——————————–

Thanks all for your words of wisdom. They mean a lot, and we’ll remind our little boy of them as he grows up.

Especially our winner’s wisdom, Jennifer, who said “get a TIVO”. Yeah, we have one. And if you dont, follow her advice and get one. Its not something I can explain. You either know or you dont.

Jennifer, email Isabel and let her know which magazine you want. (Tough choice.)

Regarding days off… they go by so fast. Especially when your asshole brother in law wont entertain his own mother for a few hours when she comes into town. If I had more time, I’d write more. But today is a day off, which means I actually have more to do than most work days.

Good news is, I’m doing some interviewing this week. Keep your fingers crossed out there for me. I’d love to land this one job. If I get it, we’ll all celebrate! Successful Farming magazine for everyone!!!

Until next week…

Yes! Great luck to you! Fingers are crossed…which makes it a tad difficult to type this, but I know it’s well worth it. And not just because I want to read 12 months of exciting farming news!

Good luck with the interview. And perfect timing on my part - you’ve been tagged! Well that is, if you’re interested and have the time. Read my ‘2′fer blog posted 12/1 and join in! Compliments of HollowSquirrel.

Like Jennifer even has a decision to make! Of course no one in her right mind would pass up an opportunity to get Successful Farming. Unless, of course, she’s already subscribed and then I would understand.

    Good luck with the interview!

    Wow! I’m so wise.

Is it bad if I admit that I already subscribe to Glamour? And that my subscription runs out this month? I mean, it’s not like it’s US Weekly or anything. Right?

I would totally love to keep getting Glamour so I can read about makeup (which I don’t wear) and sex secrets (which are the same every month). I don’t know why I love that magazine so much… but I do. It’s quite shameful. I already emailed Isabel my address…

    Good luck on the interview!

[...] Yesterday he told me that he wished more hola, isabel readers lived in the Seattle area so that he could give them away as this week’s King Friday prize. Give them away? Those are expensive tickets. You can’t just give them away. [...]
