The one where I make you look at pictures of my own kid-because he is cute

Babboo and Santa

By popular demand (okay, just a few of you asked-but I respond!) here is a picture of Babboo with Santa. As you can see my child is not afraid of Santa. In fact, he could have cared less. I guess that’s a good thing.

And just because it’s the Holiday season and I’m in a giving mood, here’s a picture of me with Santa when I was Babboo’s age.

Christmas 1975

This was clearly before I gained an immense fear of Santa. And yet my Mom would take me to see him every year. She has a stack of photos of me being practically held down by Santa in the name of “Christmas memories”. Naturally she didn’t scan any of those to share with me.

    CUTE CUTE CUTIE CUTE CUTE.
    I heart Babboo.
I have to tell you, the picture of you– I see fear in your eyes. I think you realize something isn’t quite kosher with the shifty guy in red.

That’s a pretty non-threatening Santa. Babboo looks adorable, and I’m with everyone else: he looks just like you. I can’t believe how big he’s getting already!

Babboo is just so cute and it’s great that he likes Santa. My friend’s little boy is terrified of Santa and always has been. He is 5 and still won’t sit on Santa’s lap.

I thought I would be all original and comment on how much Babboo looks JUST like you when you were his age…but I’ve been beaten to the punch.
Speaking of beating: I’m with you on the Santa Fear. Santa and clowns. Though Santa falls far below my abject terror of clowns.
    Sweet Babboo is delicious, incidentally.

Baboo looks exactly like you did when you were a wee one. He is SO beautiful. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the card you sent. The pic is already on the “fridge o’ fame”. Every time I see him, I can’t help but get a big, stupid, grin on my face. And Seth already memorized his name. And the ornament is WAY cool too.

It is Seth’s favorite ornament. God lord, I didn’t know a boy’s love of curves started that early. Oh wait. He just informed me that he “likes that girl’s boots.” heehee

You and Babboo look a lot alike at that age! So cute! I was pretty afraid of Santa myself. I never wanted to sit on his lap, even when my older brother promised to go with me. I didn’t care for the free candy canes you got afterwards, so that was no motivation. Good thing you can write the scary man a letter and skip that whole terrifying process!

I love seeing Santa photos where the kids are actually HAPPY. And he? Is one great looking Santa’s Helper.

First of all, I’m back! I’m sorry I haven’t been commenting, I was in kind of a funk.

Okay, so I loathe Santa–he’s scary!!

AND Babboo looks JUST like you! It’s so cute :)

Hope you have a Merry Christmas!!!
