Thank you for this post. I had been feeling down this past week since its been TWO YEARS of trying and no baby. But this reminded me that when we had a baby, that baby NEVER slept. And it was hard.

I don't think we've ever tried it with Zachary, but then again, he's not my kid. I can't make those decisions. But I do know, that when I have kids of my own, I will enforce the cry~it~out method because I love it! It makes it so your kids don't become spoiled or bratty, and they kind of become independent of you. I’m totally for the cry~it~out method.
