Hi, it’s just meMarch 21st, 2007 @ 7:01 am
Welcome to Wednesday morning. Here are a few things on my mind this morning:
- We don’t live near a grocery store. Plus I never have a car to drive to the grocery store. Thus me doing my grocery shopping online. $7.95 is a small price to pay for grocery delivery, no? Unfortunately, it takes about an hour to do my shopping online. Not including the time it takes to pull Babboo away from the computer wires.
- I don’t know what happens in downtown Seattle while I’m
in bedasleep, but it always looks like a mess in the morning; garbage everywhere, the smell of urine, even condom wrappers. - Are you reading Frema’s online soap opera yet? If not, you are dead to me.
- I’m not sure what they are feeding Babboo at school, but the kid poops his pants all day long. If I change a diaper, there is a 94% chance that it will contain dookie.
- The King and I have been trying to talk people into watching the new show Rules of Engagement. We’ve really been liking it lately. But this week’s episode sucked donkey ass. So um, if you watched it this week because I suggested it, I’m sorry.
- The King and I are still sleeping in the front room. I don’t dare move back into the bedroom until Babboo has slept through the night for a few nights in a row. That has yet to happen, damn it.
- It was 70 degrees here in Seattle last week. Today I just about froze on my way into work.
- I miss the sun and have almost given up hope that I will ever see it again.
- The King was in LA for five days last week for work. Including the weekend. Again, I have a new found respect for single moms. It’s a lot of work to take care of a kid alone.
- What did we do while The King was gone? Babboo and I put on our blazers and took pictures of us together. Fun times. We’re glad The King’s back home.
- A bunch of people I know, including myself, saw the movie The Holiday this weekend. Did you see it? What did you think about it? Because basically I thought it was horrible. Jude Law is unbelievably hot, but the movie was still horrible.

- I won a Whoorlie award today. It’s my first ever blog award, and I’m thrilled. Awesome, I know. It would be funnier if it was a “Whore-lie” award for being such a whore. But truthfully, I’m glad it isn’t an award for being a whore. Which, for the record, I am not.
- I’m really looking forward to this weekend. More specifically Friday night. I’ll report more on that next week.

Sorry you froze this morning. That’s how it was this weekend here, and now it’s oh so nice and springy!
Thanks for stopping by my site and giving me encouragement for going back to work. I don’t know how you do it. It’s alot just staying home with a baby and keeping up with housework and laundry! I applaud you!

LOL @ Lug’s comment.
Today I feel like I’m going insane.
I’m not really sure why. Let’s hope I can keep it all contained. I wouldn’t want to go postal on anyone.
I am completely bored with my job, but the pay is too good to go anywhere else.
P.S. Did you watch Dirt last night? Perez Hilton was on there. So cool.

What’s on my mind is that I read you all the time but Monday was a busy day for me so I didn’t have time to check your blog. Thank goodness you won the award or I would have never seen that awesome picture of Babboo. (Seriously, he rocks. That picture is so funny.)
He looks so much like you AND The King. A perfect combination of you both.
OMG, I just saw Carrisa’s comment about Dirt! I was all PEREZ!!!!!! (like I know him) It really was awesome.

Hmm, on my mind today - Why in the hell does my neck hurt the way that it does? How can I get so far behind on reading blogs and stuff - that picture of you and Babboo in the blazers is cute, the one of him sleeping in his crib? Totally hilarious. And lastly, is it Friday yet?
Congrats on the award!

Babboo looks so pimp in that picture, like, “Hey, baby, I can keep you up all night, know what I’m sayin’?” You both deserve mad props for your Whoorlie award.
Also, I haven’t seen The Holiday, but I really want to. I’m bummed you didn’t like it!

OMG, do I ever hear you about the weather. WTF? I froze my little tushie off this morning, even if it was beautiful and sunny. Although, I will say that running (sprinting) for the bus will help keep you warmer. Uh, not that I did that this morning or anything…
And ditto the ickiness that is Seattle in the morning. We used to live above an alley in Belltown. Now THAT was icky.
You already know what else is on my mind today. Not exactly fun-blog-comment material, that’s for sure…

My mind is pretty blank. But I do love your matching blazers. And that you took pictures of yourself in them.

Awwww. Love that photo. Baboo is so beautiful. He takes after his mama! Lucky genetically gifted kid!
Tuesday I thought of you… And I was checking your blog to see if Babbo was sleeping or not. I hope you get to sleep in your own bed soon. Because gah!

Good, I’m glad somebody else hated The Holiday. I walked out on it and made a lame excuse about needing to run home to feed my daughter, so they gave me my money back. I don’t know if it was the worst movie ever, but it sure did suck!

I actually really liked The Holiday…
And I think Jude Law is a man-skank. So clearly I’m in a different quadrant altogether here. I love Kate Winslet, and I really thought it was a cute movie. Oh, well…I never claimed to have good taste
