I can understand why you would want him shaved, though - his hair looked hard to brush and kind of knotty. I use to have the same problem with a persian girl - no longer in this world -she hated to be groomed thus we had to have her shaved down a couple of times/year. I did it myself though - she looked like a little weird cat from outer space and acted like one too, all crazy and giddy from not having to deal with mats. I now have a housecat that's in bad need of a shave down, I'm waiting for a friend with a shaver to do it. While waiting I'm pondering over what the fur-cat to give her...
