I think your brother had been building himself up for some big showdown with the unaccepting family, but when you were supportive and accepting, he wasn't prepared for that reaction. Instead of altering his reaction, he's looking at it as denial or unspoken unacceptance. Not that I know him, but that's my impression. It's very sad. You are the cutest little isabel ever in those pictures.
