Am smart?

But apparently it isn’t that simple to me.

When I opened it I knew it didn’t feel right. And yet, I still did it. When I was done eating dinner, I closed it up and thought, “well this is dumb. I can’t believe they don’t make this easier. Oh well.”
It wasn’t until The King came home and heated up his dinner that he pointed the handy-dandy resealable opening to me.
Awesome.

Ok, maybe this is a minority opinion, but I would have opened it the same way because of the way the package is printed. It looks like the zip seal is at the BOTTOM of the package, which would go against my every instinct.
They should have put the seal at the top of the printing.

Don’t feel bad… I have done the exact same thing… why do they make those tortilla packs so damn hard to open…
nice use of plan clips

Chris does the same thing…all.the.time.
It drives me crazy. Gah, I’m anal.

I am impressed with the usage of binder clips! I may have to borrow a box from work today to bring home!

If it makes you feel any better, I’m not allowed to open the Netflix movies anymore when they come in because then we have to use tons of scotch tape to try to fix my screw-ups.
Its not that I didn’t read the package, or haven’t done it right a handful of times….but there are perforations! I should be able to start by tearing the perforations!

When I do things like this I have to take everything out the package and put it in a ziploc. It bothers me if things don’t look right. I have even emptied out potato chip bags that were opened on the wrong end.
A little OCD, no?

I am guilty of doing the same thing from time to time. I agree with Loralee — if you were holding the bag rightside-up, so you could read the writing, you opened the top. Which is logical. And which is exactly what I would have done.

lol… I am sorry! I just have to laugh! – with you of course!

It has nothing to do with intelligence – you’re unique, a trailblazer!

I have issues with those packages, too, but it’s because they never seal up all the way or the perforations don’t perf. They suck. You’re not alone!!

I haven’t ever done this with tortillas, but I have definitely done it with other packages. One time I even cut off the whole resealable part, on accident, because it didn’t look like it was one of the resealable things. And then Shaun made fun of me for doing it and I felt like an idiot.

I’ve never done that actually but I have gotten so frustrated with the perforations that I’ve ripped them off completely and then had to use some sort of clip thing to keep the package sealed.
Why haven’t they mastered the art yet?

You know what blows even more. When they make it SODAMNHARD to open that you rip the freaking yellow and blue makes green seal all to one side so the whole thing just hangs open in the fridge and you don’t even know it until you want some.

I can’t open anything correctly, I think it runs in my family — thank god for those little twist ties!

What sucks even more is it looks like there’s a Save $.45 now coupon on there that you didn’t use — that’s almost a buck in stores that double! There is nothing more frustrating than getting home and finding those coupons still attached.

Um… I did the exact same thing, also with a bag of tortillas. It’s a conspiracy.
PS – This time I only had 3 glasses of wine and I promise not to leave 50 comments.

Now I really suspect that we were seperated at birth.
Do you also multi-task furiously and “forget” to read the directions or even look at what your hands are doing at the time? Hmmm? Me too.

Ha! That’s funny

See me?
I did the exact same thing Thursday night.
