It’s Halloween. So rock out.
Posted by Isabel on October 31st, 2007. Filed under: My Sweet Babboo.Last year’s Halloween post was a little spooky. This year I’ve decided to mix things up a bit. Instead of spooky, let’s talk about Babboo’s costume as this will be his first year dressing up.
First of all, your toddler costume choices are limited. Sure you can dress them up as pumpkin or a pirate. But when you’re married to The King, those choices just won’t make the grade.
Plus having this head of hair means we totally have to utilize it. And dude, with hair like his there is only one costume that would be worthy:

Joe Elliot, freakin’ lead singer of 80’s hair metal band, Def Leppard. Nobody rocks a mullet like Def Leppard.
Well, maybe Def Leppard and my Sweet Babboo.
While Babboo’s pants aren’t quite as tight (they’re mostly just short) as Joe Elliot’s, he’s definitely a rockstar in training.
Babboo totally became Joe Elliot and danced around like crazy for the camera. I think the bandana might have been a little too tight. Or he drank too much vodka before he went out on stage.
Dude, my head hurts. Get me out of this damn costume.

And before you die from all the cute, go and check out my latest New Thing, where there are plenty of picture of me that aren’t so cute.
And it’s Wednesday, so that means I have a new post up over at SeattleMomBlogs.
While you’re linking away…don’t forget to head over to WeHeartTV and discuss with us your love for all things television related.

this post just might convince my husband to have kids earlier than planned. He loves Def Leppard and this is seriously off the charts cute (I mean badass. Not cute.)

Happy Halloween to you too!

Do you think you could get him to say “Pour some sugar on me” instead of “Trick or Treat”?
That would be awesome – and totally appropriate.

That is awesome and adorable.

freaking awesome. I love it.

I’d like that sweet little babboo to pour some sugar on me. Yeah, so I’m hitting on a toddler, you got a problem with that? What? That costume makes him look at least twice his age so it’s all good.

What a hard core baby! Happy Halloween!

Can’t comment. Procrastamom has me laughing. Ahahahha.
Seriously tho that boy is so freaking adoreable. Great costume idea.
Maybe by the time he’s in high school, heavy metal hair bands will be back “in.”? And he could say he was “way ahead of his time.”

Dude, LOVE the costume. But if Luke and I ever have a boy, you better believe he’ll be in a pirate’s costume at least one Halloween. Heck, our pumpkin this year was dressed as a pirate!

What an awesome idea for a costume. Babboo looks too cool for candy.

That is the best kid costume i’ve ever seen…having six kids(four boys and two girls) this opens up a whole new world of opportunities next Halloween. I think I ‘m leaning toward Van Halen(with David Lee Roth, of course) and maybe Heart for the girls. What do you think?

[...] was Babboo’s first time going out on Halloween (he was sick last year) and The King’s and my first time doing this as proud parents. I admit it was pretty fun. [...]
