A few nights ago, I mentioned in passing how I wished we had ice cream in the house. Then I went upstairs for a long night of freelance proofreading. After a few hours of work, Tim placed a bowl of ice cream in front of me and said “what do you know? Sometimes when you work extra hard, the ice cream gnomes make ice cream appear in the freezer!” I appreciated that very much.

Husband scoops the cat litter, which I hatehate.

I pack his lunches when we have leftovers and sometimes buy him treats like brownies or other things he likes.

Actually, I think small thoughtful things have a pretty big impact on a marriage!

for me: takes out the trash and gives me sex in return.

As for the spouse thing… Sometimes the honey will head to Quik Trip (gas station with a crazy amount of fountain sodas, coffees, slushies, smoothies and whatnot.) He’ll get me a “coke cocktail” which is 3/4 diet coke and 1/4 reg coke. Swear it tastes as good as reg coke. Sometimes he does it on Saturdays without even asking. Better than getting roses! heehee.

You are SUCH a great wifey-poo. Your hubby is a lucky dude! (Course it sounds like he knows this!)
