I had to have 2 crowns too and I didn't realize they would become small nubs first. Rubbing your tongue quickly over your freshly ground tooth is one of the grossest feelings ever. They gave her little false ones to wear for a few weeks and one day she was flossing and one fell off and I saw the little stump. It was really quite disturbing.
