In which I freak out about…

The carpet is being installed today.
The old couch has been sold and is being picked up tonight.
The old TV has yet to sell.
Phone and cable are being turned off on Friday.
Rent is paid through Saturday.
It looks like it’s really going to happen!

Good luck with your move. We just did it on the 15th and it was an enormous undertaking, mainly because we downsized. You’re upsizing so you should be in good shape.

You know how when you don’t see someone often (or in this case don’t see them at all/don’t know them in real life) things in the other person’s life seem to happen so fast. Like you find out their pregnant and then it seems like the next month the baby is already here and six months old. That’s not the case with your house. I’ve been reading your blog for what seems like a long time, and I think you’ve been working on this house the entire time. So….I know this was a long time coming. Congratulations, FINALLY!!
