In which I tell you a secret and show you a mathematical equation

Is today the day I admit I haven’t read a blog is over a week?!

Or is that something so horrific that I should never admit it to the interweb?

A WEEK!

Sure I’ve hopped on and read one or two posts when my boss has gone to the bathroom. But overall, NO BLOG READING. I haven’t died yet from my lack of blog reading, but I’ve come mighty close.

(I also haven’t read any news sites. So I’m not 100% if Brad and Angelina had their babies yet.)

(And is Amy Winehouse still drunk and skinny?)

(Do you love that I include Angelina and Amy in my descriptions of “news sites”? I suck.)

So I know Metalia and Lizzy both had baby girls. I know that Heidikins, Carly, Sizzle and Rhi are going to BlogHer. I’m pretty sure Mrs. Squirrel still only has the two adorable boys. I also know what swimming suit FluentBrittish is sporting this season, and I’ve seen her new blog (all about being thrifty and nifty). I didn’t miss that Frema is pregnant (again!).

But beyond that, I have no idea what is going on.

I’m not sure if Molly’s sold her house yet and I’m not sure how much longer Liza has before she has her new baby.  Will Durga have her baby this week?  Or next week?

What about the rest of you? Any of you out there in Blogland pregnant? Anyone sporting a new engagement ring? Did you go into labor this weekend? Or maybe get married? What did you wear to work today? How is your cat doing?

I seriously suffer from anxiety that I’m missing out on something. Something big. Something like twins and engagement rings and official wedding dates.

I’m not the kind of person that likes to miss out on Big News. I don’t like being the last to know.

I’m sitting her at my desk, surrounding by new projects and bosses that are looking over my shoulders and piles of work and all I want to go is jump on my blog reader and read about YOU. Screw responsibilities and projects and deadlines. What has happened on the interweb lately?

And in case you’re wondering if there’s something big you’ve missed on my end, allow me to show you what we’ve been dealing with this week. And may I present it to you in the form of a mathematical equation.

I’m not pregnant, not engaged, no new house, same boyfriend, same job. I did get a new dress and shoes for my girls’ fundraiser. Angelina has not had the babies, Amy Winehouse might have emphysema, and Britney now can have overnight visitation with the boys. Gas is still ungodly high, the housing market sucks, and the Mississippi is flooding.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and for right now in this moment, all is right with my world.

I don’t think Angelina has had those babies yet but she’s been MIA lately. SO YOU NEVER KNOW.

I’m waffling on the question of scheduled c/s or attempting a VBAC, but I haven’t blogged about it. So you are the first on the interweb to know. :)

I’ve been really busy meeting AWESOME interweb people. Like you!

Also, dating a cute boy! And, not kissing him.

Yay for no binky and the bike! How is he liking it?

When I go to BlogHer I will not have internet access so there will be NO blog reading or emailing or anything of that nature. I think it will be good for me? Though I will be surrounded by bloggers for two of the 6 days I will be on vacation…

You aren’t missing much on my blog- apartment managerial crap and pms. That about sums it up. ; -)

HELLO nothing much going on over here. Yes, we still have two and only two boys. Let’s see…Jojo woke early from his nap and de-stuffed the throw pillow on his bed. It was mayhem, but I just laughed. I’m doing really well (surprisingly) on the felt food craft I’m making for the felt food swap. I’m making frosted sugar cookies (for the swap; not like for reals). i joined Netflix. I just made my son hot cocoa and sugar snap peas for a snack. That is all.

I MISS YOU (that, too). MISS. SO MUCH!

I’m still pregnant (I wouldn’t have wished to become pregnant, but now that I am, I hope to stay that way). Kara is six months and pseudo crawling and trying to pull herself up on furniture. Luke and I are taking things more slowly with our house-hunting. I haven’t blogged on TypePad since June 9. Dude, I am lame, but I keep putting it off because I’m nauseous and tired and that blog doesn’t pay me. Such a sell-out, I am, but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

And ditto, Mrs. Squirrel. I miss you! I wish we could all afford (money and time) to go to BlogHer this year.

I got married, I’m knocked up, and I’m buying a new house. Oh, did I mention that I finished school? Yea… Where have you been?! ;)

Ok, ok… nothing new. I have been doing good on keeping up on the readings of my favorite blogs, but I have been absolutely sucking at keeping my blog up to date with non~Twilight news. I think my blog is just about to cross~over to a Twilight news blog…

I was going to jokingly say that I was pregnant and then I realized that you might not want to have a heart attack today. So I will not do that.

Nothing new on my end. I’m on vacation in Denver and that about covers it.

First and foremost, thank you for the linky love. I’m so happy to know that my swimming suit is important to you.

You truly care, and that warms my heart. Hee!

Secondly, Nicky has the same bike as Babboo! They could totally start a biker gang. What do you think?? “Tods on Hogs” or something. Rock on!

Also, and this has nothing to do with this post, you remember how you were joking about getting vinyl letters for your wall that say “That’s how we roll?” Well, I was thinking about that (among other super important things) the other day, and I was thinking it would be AWESOME to have KING printed all giant-like in caps and then have “That’s how we roll” running through it.

    You can thank me later.

Hey, no baby yet. due mid next week… but i’m thinking he’s come late.
MO’s cousin is getting married next weekend so we are all very excited about it. I’d love to be at the wedding but I’d rather just have the baby before then. the suspense is too much to handle right now.
How’s Babboo? did u get any photos at the wedding you guys went to? I want to see him dressed up in black.
Anyway, how is everything else going?

You didn’t ask, but I’ll tell.

Husband: in your neck of the woods AGAIN this week for work. Yuck. But YAY he’ll hit REI in up to three locations (Tacoma, Seattle, Bellingham) on the way home to REI-deprived Canada to get me my outdoor goodies
Baby: Cute. And napping. And super duper close to crawling. Yikes.
    Me: Most definitely NOT pregnant.
