Since we are going to be in Portland for the holiday itself, I'm not decorating here (meh to that) and since there is no money in the budget for gifts, I'm not shopping, either. Meh to that, too. So I'm feeling somewhat crumudgeonly about Christmas and am, really, trying to just make it about Jesus this year and not about the decorations or the presents, which, it should be about Jesus regardless of my budget or location on the 25th. Even so, it just doesn't feel much like Christmas without a tree and some fancy wrapping paper. /rant OMG, I love your Playmobil nativity!!! I think we need one at our house, too.

At my house, I've bought the gifts for Christmas. Bought the cards but haven't started writing them yet. Many people got my card a weeks after christmas in 2007. I want to be better organised though. The tree is up. Its a fake little fibre optic tree so it just does weird cool light things which sits on a corner table. whooa! I put up a few little Christmassy decorations - not much though. I don't feel like celebrating very much this year for some reason. Maybe just the general mood. hehe We are flying to Adelaide (inter state) and we leave for the airport in 1.5hrs. I'm still awake and just sorta finished packing. We are going there becos my husband's brother is getting married there (his fiance was born and raised there and wanted to be married in the Adelaide temple). We spend a couple of extra days there and fly back next wednesday. Thats what has been going on in my life. How are you guys doing? These pics are so great.
