Do any of you remember what The King gave me for Christmas last year? I’m sure you blocked it from your memory. I don’t blame you. So for all of you that need a reminder of the gift that just kept on giving, check out that post HERE.

(Okay, so I admit this gift was never used. But it was fun to talk about using it.)

What I’m saying is that it’s typically a totally random Christmas gift that bring the most joy. Do you agree?

A small package arrived at my house the day after Christmas. It came from the Costco film developing department. I didn’t recall that I had ordered any photo prints, so this package confused me a little bit.

I opened it and could tell there was only one photo in the envelope. And it wasn’t your typical photo size. Oh no, this bad boy was 5X7.

But again, I was quite confident that I hadn’t ordered any prints.

I slowly slipped the photo out of the sleeve, cautious as to what I was about to see.

And then I saw it.

In all of its glory.

And I fell in love.

And I instantly knew who had sent me this perfect little Christmas gift; my best friend May who deserted me moved to Reno.

That’s right people, it’s little old me with the divine Rhett Miller (lead singer of the Old 97’s) and his arm draped around me.

Okay, so it’s a totally fake picture. May has mad photoshop skillz and fully understands and appreciates my undying love for all things Rhett Miller, so she created this little goody for me.

It is totally going in a frame and being hung next to the concert poster Carrisa’s husband did for the Old 97’s (using my likeness).

May is very clever and very cool and always comes up with fun gifts. This Christmas was no different. Check out some of the other photos she made for her other friends and family.

May’s daughter is a huge fan of High School Musical. And now she has picture proof of attending the HSMIII premier WITH ZAC EFRON!

May has another friend who would love to have a child with Jason Bateman. And now, SHE DOES HAVE A BABY WITH JASON BATEMAN. (We all know, pictures don’t lie.)

May’s mother in law loves Tom Selleck. (YUMMY!) They would have been very happy together.

(My mom would love one of her with Garth Brooks. Odd, I know.)

And then their is May’s younger sister in law who, like the rest of us, is in love with Edward from “Twilight”. She was lucky enough to get a whole stash of goodies from May.

Of course when I showed my younger sister the picture May had done of me with Rhett Miller she said “I’d love one of me with Edward!”

And so I made one of my sister with Edward. Hey, I’m giving like that.

Okay, I admit my photoshop skillz aren’t quite as awesome as May’s are. But you have to admit, this picture is pretty awesome.

(I sent the file to my sister yesterday. She has yet to respond. I’m thinking she loves it so much that she was rendered speechless. I don’t blame her.)
