My Sweet Babboo: Do you have a wiener, Mommy?
Isabel: No, because I’m a lady. Remember, we’ve talked about this.
My Sweet Babboo: I think you’re tricking me.
Isabel: I’m not tricking you. I don’t have a wiener.
My Sweet Babboo: Show me!
The King: (from the other room) That’s right, boy!! Remember that line when you’re a little older.

The only pick-up line that’s ever worked for me was “Nice socks,” (that one came from my now-husband, then-hot waiter). That’s a good one, though, and it’s hilarious that the King picked it up from the next room.

Nothing like being called a trannie to make a girl feel like puttin’ out. (Back in my Dancing Queen days I was always afraid of being mistaken for a drag queen. Very possible when you only go clubbing with gay dudes. Luckily I was only mistaken for Nancy Sinatra. Phew.)

CRACKED ME UP.
We are still potty training, and with my freakishly competitive boy, the most effective way of getting him to go potty is to say “I’m going to go faster!” So he knows that we don’t have the same equipment he has.
(”I’m going to win” is one of the best ways of getting him to do ANYTHING.)
