I wore my hair in a ponytail.
On Tuesday I ate a granola bar for breakfast and had about five cups of Caf-fix. For lunch I had a frozen lunch (turkey). We went out for sushi for dinner with our friend who was in town from Albania. I wore a black skirt and black shirt with an aqua sweater, and my “fancy” flip-flops. I wore my hair in a ponytail.
Wednesday morning I had oatmeal (with fresh strawberries) and five cups of Caf-fix. For lunch I tried one of those new flatbread sandwiches from Subway (LOVED!). Dinner was a sandwich (left over BBQ meat from the weekend). I wore a black/tan shirt, black shirt, and my “fancy” flip-flops. I wore my hair in a ponytail.
For breakfast today I had a granola bar, but no Caf-fix, as I am out and forgot to bring my new jar into the office. I brought an apple, so I’m sure I’ll eat that at some point. The King is baking (another) blueberry pie today, so that might be my dinner. Today I’m wearing a denim skirt and a white shirt (with a pink shirt under, for the “layering effect). I also have on my “fancy” flip-flops and my hair is pulled back in a bun.
Tomorrow I’ll have another granola bar and hopefully I’ll remember to bring in my Caf-Fix. I’m meeting a co-worker for lunch. As of yet we have no dinner plans. I don’t what specific outfit I’ll be wearing, but I’m sure it will include a skirt and my “fancy” flip-flops. I will also, most likely, wear my hair in a ponytail.
In case you missed what I was getting at here:
MY LIFE IS BORING AND NOT BLOG WORTHY, as of yet.
I take that back.
On Sunday, during the main (and most reverent) part of church, Babboo dropped one of his toys and yelled out “damn it!” While that was quite embarrassing on it’s own, it was made worse when The King and I busted up laughing.
And then, during the time at church where Babboo is in with the other kids, he called someone a “dumbass”. The King was informed of this “incident” when he picked him up at the end of church.
When recounting these stories to a friend she asked, “did Babboo learn those words at school?”
“Um, no. Clearly he learned them from me The King.”
Oh, and work has officially blocked Twitter*. It will now fall to the way side like Myspace, amalah, and facebook. (I can Tweet from my cell phone. But my current cell plan only gives me five texts a day.) (that includes incoming.)
Yep, that’s all I got; my food habits for the week, my outfits (and hair styles), the fact that I curse around my kid too much, and that my work is mean.
You are welcome.
*I just checked again, and TWITTER IS NOT BLOCKED. Phew. That was a close one.

I think this post is FUNNY. Love the Ground Hog’s Day sensibility of this. Really the same food and the same outfit and the same hair and the same worries day in and day out. Good thing you taught your child to swear. Shows resourcefulness in the face of tedium. But then I’m a fan of anything you want to write.

What’s CAF-FIX?

You always blog good… even when you don’t think you are. I stopped blogging because my life is way boring. I don’t know if I’m ever gonna blog again. I never felt like it was my “thing”, but I have enjoyed yours and others blogs.

Is it pathetic on my part that I read this entire entry with rapt attention?
One time, I said the “F” word in the grocery store and my mom almost melted into a puddle right then and there. I was five. She was so mortified, in fact, that she couldn’t bring herself to finish the shopping.

Twitter was down for like TWO HOURS this morning. Pretty much the worst two hours of my life. I was all, “HOW WILL THE INTERNET KNOW WHAT I AM DOING?”

I was going to say…are you sure your workplace blocked Twitter? It’s been down for me all day and I’m reading in the news (and on Facebook) that it’s been hacked. But I see you tried again and it worked – so maybe MY workplace has blocked twitter.
Damn.
I also cuss too much around my kids and eat the same stuff daily for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Maybe that’s why I haven’t been blogging much lately either! Although this week I’m on a roll…

I’m sure Baboo sounded absolutely adorable! Thanks for sharing because it made me laugh – also, I’d like to see the fancy flip flops.

Hilarious! (The Baboo part, not the clothes/hair part since I could have blogged the exact same thing myself complete with same outfits and my good old pony tail, being the exciting gal that I am
) Our oldest starts kindergarten next month and I just know we. are. going. to. die. because of the things she’s going to repeat. We’ve already had several warm up runs already!

A lot of that sounds like my life, even the cursing preschooler. Except the Mr. doesn’t do any pie-baking. That’s allll me.
My work blocks everything but my feedreader. I have to wait until I’m home to comment or tweet.

I think you’re pony-tailed, “fancy” flip-flopped self is delightful.
That’s all.

I’m actually quite amused with this post! I am always really curious as to what people eat! So, thanks, now I know what Hola Isabel ate this week!!

Imagining the words “Damn it” and “dumbass” come out of that sweet little face… hahahahahaha. I love that.
And you ROCK a pony tail and your meals sound pretty healthy. Why change a system that ain’t broken!
