Let me make you feel better:

Both of my sisters are grandmas. Both of them have two grandbabies and another on the way. One of my sisters is 6 years older than me, the other is 4. One of them was MY AGE RIGHT NOW when she became a grandma. Well, within a few months.

So I am a great aunt.

You know…the great auntie. The one who wears weird nylons for her varicose veins, and smells weird, and has grey hair and wrinkles and wears a hat when she goes outside, and gets her hair done once a week.

Yeah, I’m not any of those things, except for a great auntie.

Which makes me feel old!!!!!

I know how u feel.
A woman in my ward who is 12years older than me (she is 38, had her first child at 18) is also a new grandma. He daughter is 20yrs old.
My son will only be 13 in 12yrs time. Honestly, I am in no rush to be a grandma. :/

This sounds a lot like my Mom’s family – except she was the baby sister (incidentally she also has a sister named Lynn). I guess the fact that I have two kids now is probably blowing some of my Aunts and their childrens minds!!!

that’s mindblowing mindblowing and then some bits of mindblowage. Because I know how old you are and I’m way older and no where NEAR grandma stage.

My mind just blew.
